A Day in the Life: 9 months+

I figured it was time to do another "day in the life" post since it has been a few months and we are much busier than we were with the first one!
Our morning activities usually vary based on the day, but for the most part, our schedule is the same.

And now I'll leave it up to Charlee to describe her day....

First of all, I'm almost 10 months old, so let's get that straight.
And two, I can't believe that Mom has made me wait this long before letting me blog again!  Do you remember when I first told you about my day here?  I was just two months old!

7:00 am -ish:
While I used to start my day off pretty early, being awesome is really exhausting!  I need all of my beauty sleep, so I get up around 7-7:30am.
And because I'm always a ray of sunshine, I wake up with a smile on my face and crawl around my crib when Mom or Dad come to get me.  I also like to "hide" so they can't find me!  I lay flat on my mattress and bury my head and they have no idea where I am!

Diaper change and pj change and I'm ready for breakfast!  (well first a bottle of milky, then some grub)

7:30am: B-fast time!  Mom makes me cheesy eggs (sometimes with red peppers, but I don't really know why she needs to add veggies to it) and part of her smoothie.

 8:00am
after breakfast, we play a little and Mom gets ready for our day.  Sometimes we go to Stroller Strides to work out and some days we go to music.  Tuesdays are music days :)

8:45am
Time to head out to music class!
I have a sweet new ride now, my big girl seat!

 9-9:45am
I love to play and sing with my friends!
We play instruments, dance, sing, bounce, and even practice quiet time.
 10am
Music pretty much tires me out, so I nap in the car (I know it's only a 3 minute drive, but seriously, it's exhausting being me!)

 11am
And I'm up after my catnap in the garage and it's time to walk the pups! (don't worry, Mom sits in the car with me while I nap.)

After a nice long walk, it's back for lunch and play time.
12pm
Quesadillas!  My fave!  Mom is always sneaking vegetables into my 'dillas.  I don't know why you would mess with a good thing, but it's still delicious!

 12:45pm
Play time!  After lunch, Mom and I play for a bit with my toys.  I love my little kitchen and dancing to the music.
I also love chasing my sisters and snuggling with my big sister Lucy.

 2pm
After all that playing, I'm beat.  A bottle and my crib is all I need for a good snooze in the middle of the afternoon.

Mom, on the other hand, has to get to work!

First, cleaning up my toys that I scatter all over the floor.  (not really sure why she insists on cleaning things up when I'm just going to take it all out again, but whatever)

Then, she has to wash my diapers!

And empty the dishwasher and pick up the rest of the house.  But that's only if I am so very tired that I nap for longer than 45 minutes!

4pm
And I'm up!  Today was a long nap kind of day.  I was just too warn out from all of the excitement earlier.
While I'm still waking up, we read books and snuggle.

Then there's another walk with my pups and more playing.

5:30pm
I help feed my sisters!  My job is to mix up their food.  Sometimes if they aren't eating, I'm the "timer."  Mom and Dad put me on the other side of the room and Maddie and Lucy have until I get to them to finish eating (or start eating).  ;)

6pm
It's time for me to eat!  Dad is out of town and we didn't make it to the grocery store this morning, so it's leftovers!
Mom made me grilled cheese with turkey and spinach (delish) and heated up some cheesy potatoes and roasted cauliflower.

After dinner, we play for a little bit longer until it's time for my bath.

7pm
Bath time!  I love splashing around in the water!!

Then I have to brush my 6 teeth.

We say "goodnight" to the baby in the mirror.

7:30pm
Mom and I read a few books (usually Daddy does the bedtime duties and most times I am just too tired for books).
Then I have a bottle and turn in for the night.

Until next time!
