32 Weeks Baby #2

 April 3, 2016

How far along? 32 weeks
Stretch marks? yes, the belly has grown too big too fast.  Oh well!
Sleep: I'm exhausted all the time!  Falling asleep is tough, especially before 11pm for some reason, and then I toss and turn (which is a rather laborious event).
Exercise: BarreAmped 2x a week, Knocked Up Fitness Prenatal Sculpt 2x this week, walked the dogs 2-3 miles a day almost every day
Best moment this week (or the past few weeks): After a week off of BarreAmped, it felt really good to get back!  But I could definitely feel the added weight and it's getting a lot harder.  Charlee and I did lots of little activities with her BFF Aubrey which was fun.  Baby sister has been very active and Charlee likes to talk to her through my belly (which has been really cute)
Movement: Sassy pants is always moving and shaking.  I'm over the hiccups though (sorry, kid, I'm sure you are too). Fingers crossed she stays head down and doesn't flip again!
Food cravings: I really wanted Culver's custard all week, but was trying to hold out for a good flavor of the day.  Once we finally made it there, I was kind of over it.  Such a let down.
Anything making you queasy or sick: just haven't been feeling well at all.
Have you started to show yet: big baby belly which I have come to terms with the fact that I just carry big in my belly.  However, the added weight has been really difficult to handle this past week (both emotionally and physically).  I think the physical pain and discomfort has really caused the emotional side of it. I've always been hard on myself with weight, so it's just getting difficult now (even more so because I know how much I gained with Charlee and I'm comparing this pregnancy to that.  I stopped caring at this point with Charlee, but I really wanted to stay under the weight I was when I delivered her and it won't happen).
Gender: baby sister!
Labor Signs: none, braxton hicks are back
Symptoms: my pelvis hurts all the time
Belly Button in or out? in
Wedding rings on or off? on
Happy or Moody most of the time: In between.  Happy that we are nearing the end and baby sister will be here soon, but so emotional because we're not ready yet!  I'm not ready to have two little girls.  We still have a lot of projects to complete and stuff to get done before she's here (and still have no name!)

Dear baby sister,

It won't be long now until you are on the outside and snuggled into your crib.  I can't believe that we are nearing the end.  It's really hard to believe that we will soon be a family of 4.  It's hard to imagine how you will fit, but I know you will.  I constantly wonder about you.  Who you will look more like.  If you'll be silly like Charlee.  If you'll be easy going and calm like she was or if you'll give us a real run for our money.  Charlee thinks you will have blue eyes and blonde hair like me. :)

Charlee loves to tell everyone about you.  When they ask her if she is going to have a baby, she points to my belly and says "baby sister in mommy's belly!"  She likes to poke you and talk to you.  You always get a character in whatever book we are reading ("That's mommy, daddy, Charlee and baby sister!") She has even named one of her dollies after you (Big girl Charlee and baby sister).  It will be interesting once we actually give you a name if she sticks with calling you Baby Sister.

Less than 2 months left, little one.  It will surely fly by.

Love,
your mommy
