EAT
Emme would much rather nurse than eat actual food. She also thinks it's more fun to feed the dogs than to eat her own food.
But she's definitely a girl after my own heart and loves her carbs. Bread, crackers, graham crackers, cheerios, etc all favorites.
SLEEP
Ugh, sleep. Every night I think "maybe tonight is the night that she'll just sleep through the night or only wake up once." And every single night, I see her 2-3 times, sometimes up to 5 times. I'm exhausted. I love her, I do, and I love her snuggles, but I would also like to sleep and snuggle with her in the light of day.

Oh goodness, Emme loves her big sister like something fierce.
Charlee can always get the biggest smiles and biggest laughs out of Emme.

LETTER TO EMME
Dear little bug,
Sorry peanut, I'm not the best at keeping up with your blog. One of these days, I will get it updated on time and not 2-3 weeks late and almost into the next month.
I can't even believe that you're almost a year old! These past few months have just flown by and you are growing so quickly.
You love to sing (and scream). Gone are the days when you would cry in the car (although you still do sometimes). Now you will sing while we are driving. You shriek when playing with your sister.
You enjoy playing with your Little People and like to tap them together. You can sit and play with them for quite a long time before moving on. Sensory bins have become a favorite. You like to dig in them which makes loud noises (especially in the beans or dried pasta).
You give me the biggest hugs and climb into my lap if I'm sitting. You give daddy big smiles when he comes home from work. And he can also get big belly laughs out of you. But you are still very much a mama's girl. You want me to come in to comfort you in the middle of the night. You reach for me when anyone else is holding you.
Aside from me, Charlee is still your favorite person. You always want to be where she is. You follow her around and sit as close as possible. Your favorite part of afternoon nap is getting to sit in her bed to give her kisses before naps. I hope that you both continue to be close.
May is quickly approaching, sweet girl. And with that comes your birthday. I love watching you grow and change. You are so much fun and so snuggly. I am so lucky to be your mommy.
